Third graders work toward the Bear rank. The Bear rank is earned by completing the 8 adventures as described below. Cub Scouts earn Adventures that are specific to their grade and rank. Completion of Adventures is how the aims of character, citizenship, leadership, and personal fitness are developed.
Parental Involvement:
Parents are required to stay on the church property during all den meetings and accompany their Bear Scout during all outings. The Bear program relies heavily on family involvement.
Class A Uniform Requirements:
Blue Uniform Shirt with appropriate patches (Council patch, Pack numbers, World Crest, & American flag)
Blue Bear Neckerchief
Blue Cub Scout Belt
Other items are optional
